There is no "global midi map" in BM3. It's a shame. That's why I used to use a ONE BANK WORKFLOW, so I can map stuff still. I think this video explains it, maybe, it's been years so I'm not sure anymore: ua-cam.com/video/hOAwyIVVjys/v-deo.htmlsi=Izd6hxvGVTHWmnYb

@@ElectronisoundsAudio oh I see now. I was even trying to just map my midi fighter to BM3 and using macros to flick volumes to no volume and then full volume for a mute effect but the banks issue stands in the way like you said. If you map a button to select bank and a button right next to that on the controller to move fader it might work but that’s just asking way too much. That of course would be specifically to write the automation or else pad trigger would work just fine for performance alone.

@@LoSham Yeah, GLOBAL Midi Mapping would have made this DAW unstoppable, imho - without it, it's strangely limited still. 👍👍

@@ElectronisoundsAudio on a side note I know your into those techno type sounds. I just multi sampled my MC 303 and made MPC& Maschine key groups out of it.. let me know if you could be interested in a trade.. they aren’t Anything ground breaking but some of these samples make me cry sometimes :p 10 gigs

They’re super versatile for anything from EDM, progressive house and trance to trap, breakbeat, chillout and even leads for liquid DnB! 20 different sounds in each included key, Cminor, Eminor, Fminor, Gminor and Aminor. (They are different sounds per key, not the same 20 sound repeated...)👊

Awwww, thanks for the support! 😁🙏👊 This one is actually pretty straightforward. I just took some loops and samples (the drum break, funky bass and live guitar were either sourced from Loopcloud or some rando sample packs in my collection) and arranged them into a few patterns using the Polyend Tracker mini, then I'm playing the Hydrasynth over the top of it and triggering a vocal sample from the AKAI MPC Live. Hey Hey! Thanks for watching! 😁🙏👊 The original tubes that were in my unit caused more (bad sounding) distortion that pleasant gain sound as well. That's why I felt the need to replace (upgrade) them in the first place. These new tubes sounded WAY BETTER than the tubes that were originally in there. For sure, you can still use the unit with no tube gain though... Does it sound ok when the knob is at zero? If so, then you could for sure just stay that way, but the tube drive is really nice when you have BETTER QUALITY tubes put in there! 👍👍
